Fans can win $25,000 grand prize while supporting local nonprofits through Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches’ Birdies for Charity Program

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL – The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches is thrilled to announce the launch of its 2024-25 Birdies for Charity program. The initiative provides an exciting opportunity for nonprofits to raise funds and for donors to win a grand prize while supporting their favorite causes. The program will run from October 25, 2024 to February 26, 2025.

Participating charities will benefit from 100% of all donations made in their name, as the tournament will cover all administrative costs associated with the program. Donors who contribute a minimum of $20 to a participating charity will have the chance to guess the total number of birdies made by PGA TOUR players during The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, scheduled for February 27 – March 2, 2025.

One lucky donor who correctly guesses the number of birdies will win a $25,000 grand prize. In the event of a tie, additional tiebreaker questions will be used to determine the winner, including an estimate of the number of balls hit into the water at the Bear Trap—an intense three-hole stretch designed by Jack Nicklaus, renowned as one of the toughest stretches in golf (Holes 15, 16 and 17). You can donate to your favorite nonprofit by clicking here.

The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches will also contribute to a bonus pool that will be distributed among participating charities based on their level of involvement. This bonus pool provides an additional incentive for charities to engage their supporters and maximize their fundraising efforts.
