PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches is excited to announce volunteer registration is now open and filling up fast for the 2025 event. There are a variety of different volunteer committees to get involved with when the PGA TOUR’s sole South Florida event returns to PGA National Resort’s Champion Course, February 26-March 2, 2025.

Volunteer committee opportunities include:

• Admissions and Ticketing: These dedicated volunteers are responsible for assisting in properly checking admission credentials, scanning tickets, and providing friendly guidance and general
• Hospitality: Assist as hosts for sponsors/guests, positive experience at the event; direct all guests to their correct locations. Control access to hospitality areas by verifying proper credentials, maintain noise control.
• Gallery Management (formerly Marshals): Responsible for managing gallery noise & traffic; Ensuring safety of our guests by reinforcing health & safety policies; and providing a world class guest experience. Assist with course evacuation if needed. Ensure compliance with cell phone/camera rules.

Volunteers play a crucial role in the success of the Cognizant Classic, enabling the implementation of a premier sporting event through their commitment of time, skills, and enthusiasm to assist in various facets of the tournament.

“For almost two decades, I've dedicated myself to the Cognizant Classic, formerly the Honda Classic, volunteering at the event in various roles from Hole Captain, Committee Chair and now proudly serving as Co-Division Chair of Gallery Management, Practice Facility and the Advance/Transition Team,” said Volunteer Paul Kennedy. “I am excited to volunteer at the Cognizant Classic because of its strong commitment to giving back to the local community through charitable initiatives. The event provides a significant opportunity to support important causes and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need within our area. (…) I consider it an honor to volunteer at this incredible event and intend to do so as long as I am physically able.”

Volunteers will receive one polo, a hat, and a working credential that serves as your ticket outside of volunteer shifts. Volunteers also have access to Volunteer headquarters, where meals will be available during working shifts. Volunteers are required to complete a minimum of three shifts to receive their gifts.
