Cognizant Classic gives fans a chance to win $10,000 grand prize while supporting local nonprofits through Birdies for Charity

Support the Palm Beach community ahead of the PGA TOUR’s “Florida Swing” kick-off event

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – The Cognizant Classic is thrilled to announce the return of its Birdies for Charity program. The initiative invites fans and donors to support Palm Beach area nonprofits by making a contribution to the community organization of their choice and submitting a guess for total number of birdies recorded during the tournament. The Birdies for Charity program will run from Wednesday, November 5, 2025 through Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

“Birdies for Charity turns every swing into support for the Palm Beach community,” said Todd Fleming, Executive Director of the Cognizant Classic. “The desire to create opportunities to strengthen our community remains at the heart of our mission at the Cognizant Classic, and this program exemplifies how we turn that commitment into action.”

With the Cognizant Classic set to cover all administrative costs associated with the program, participating nonprofits will receive 100% of every pledge collected on their behalf, along with additional funds from the tournament’s $100,000 bonus pool. With a minimum $20 contribution, one lucky supporter whose guess is closest to the total number of birdies made during the tournament competition rounds (Thursday-Sunday) will win a grand prize of $10,000. The winner may keep the prize or donate it to a participating charity of their choice.
