PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches is teaming up once again with Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League to help local pups find their forever homes by waiving all adoption fees for large adult dogs and adult cats from Friday, January 16 through Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Join us for a unique adoption event where Palm Beach locals can find a new best friend for free and celebrate the community’s hometown tournament. Each adopted furry friend will receive a custom bandana showcasing the event’s vibrant Palm Beach-inspired look.

Adoption fees will be waived for adult large dogs (six months and older, 25 lbs. and up) and adult cats (six months and older). Adoptions will be located at the Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

This pet adoption event demonstrates the Cognizant Classic’s ongoing commitment to supporting local causes and uniting the Palm Beach community. As one of the region’s leading charitable contributors, the tournament gifted more than $75 million since its inception in 1972.
