Family Day presented by TBC Corporation offers perfect weekend outing for families

Enjoy a variety of family-friendly experiences during the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – Those looking for an activity the whole family can enjoy should look no further than Family Day presented by Palm Beach Gardens-based TBC Corporation, which returns Saturday, February 28 at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches.

The Cognizant Classic is teaming up with TBC Corporation, one of North America’s largest marketers of automotive replacement tires through wholesale and franchise operations, to once again host families onsite during the PGA TOUR’s Florida Swing opening event. The first 1,500 children under the age of 15 through the gates on Saturday will receive commemorative jumbo autograph balls for the littlest fans to collect signatures from TOUR stars.

After heading through the gates, families are encouraged to make their way to the Driving Range and Practice Putting Green presented by TBC Corporation for the best spot to watch all their favorite TOUR golfers warm-up ahead of the round and secure autographs in the Nicklaus Children’s Health System Kid’s Autograph Zone adjacent to the No. 10 tee box.

With 18 holes and 150 acres of property at the Champion Course, there is endless space for families to explore, play and enjoy some fresh air and time away from the screen. Throughout the day, families can enjoy interactive games, practice shots on a putting green dedicated to just the kids and partake in face painting, all of which is courtesy of TBC Corporation.

Fans can also stop by the Nicklaus Children’s Health System Kids Zone, situated between Nos. 10 and 18, which features incredible murals and inspiring patient stories, along with arcade games, glitter tattoos and a photo booth to commemorate the day. Within the same area, families with young children can find comfort and convenience at the Family Care Suite, which provides a cool escape from the sun, private nursing facilities, engaging toddler games and a safe spot for little ones to relax.

Spectators are reminded that the Youth Ticket Program presented by Nicklaus Children’s Health System provides complimentary admission to up to two children aged 15 and under per one ticketed adult, making the tournament a memorable and affordable experience for the entire family.

“The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches is more than just a golf tournament, it’s a week where families can come together to enjoy the sport, the outdoors and all the shared moments together,” said Todd Fleming, Executive Director of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. “In partnership with TBC Corporation, the Cognizant Classic will allow families to create traditions while enjoying the day at PGA National Resort & Spa.”

As Palm Beach County’s best-in-class sporting event, the Cognizant Classic has something for every fan to enjoy with Daily Grounds tickets offering unparalleled value and access to several unique, open-to-the-public venues throughout the historic golf course.
