PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – The Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches announced today plans to recognize and celebrate Palm Beach County’s military members during tournament week when it returns to PGA National Resort & Spa from February 25 through March 1. As the Official Military Sponsor of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches, Pratt & Whitney is proud to support the tournament’s Military Ticket Program that offers complimentary and discounted tickets for service members and veterans.

Pratt & Whitney, alongside Cognizant, also serves as a marquee partner of the Patriots’ Outpost. From Thursday through Sunday, Military personnel and one guest are invited to enjoy this exclusive venue overlooking No. 10 green, featuring comfortable seating and a premier view as the PGA TOUR stars conquer the Champion Course. The Outpost will feature complimentary snacks and beverages, along with Blue Bell ice cream in the afternoon (first-come, first-served).

Additionally, 250 food vouchers will be available on a first come, first basis with the presentation of a military ticket. Vouchers can be picked up at the Patriots’ Outpost from Thursday through Sunday, and can be redeemed at select on-site concession stands which offer a variety of meal options.

Military Appreciation Day presented by Pratt & Whitney will take place on Thursday, February 26. The first 1,500 guests with access to the Patriots’ Outpost will receive a tournament-branded Challenge Coin to commemorate their day at the Cognizant Classic. Also, on Military Appreciate Day, service members can enjoy a special 20% discount at the PGA TOUR Fan Shop located near the Driving Range.

Military Ticket Program presented by Pratt & Whitney

Active-duty, retired, reserve and National Guard members are eligible to claim up to two (2) complimentary tickets for Wednesday’s practice round (February 25) and the option for two (2) complimentary tickets for one competition day of their choice between Thursday and Sunday (February 26-March 1), while supplies last. The tournament’s Youth Ticket Program presented by Nicklaus Children’s Health System allows each military ticket recipient to bring up to two children (ages 15 and under) for free. Valid identification and credentials are required.

Discounted admission will be provided to veterans and one dependent on Wednesday ($15 plus taxes and fees) and up to two (2) discounted tickets for one of the competition days from Thursday to Sunday ($45 plus taxes and fees).

Throughout tournament week (Wednesday-Sunday), active duty, veterans and National Guard members will receive a 10% discount in the PGA TOUR Fan Shop (must have valid military I.D.).
