PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – Tournament officials announced today its next wave of commitments to the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. The TOUR’s “Florida Swing” begins at PGA National Resort & Spa, with the Champion Course set to host the TOUR stars from February 25 through March 1.
Luke Clanton
- Marks second consecutive start at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (T18/2025); first start at the event as a PGA TOUR member
- At the 2025 event, the Hialeah native posted a 5-under 66 on Friday to make the cut and reach 20 points to earn PGA TOUR membership; Clanton became the second player to earn his TOUR card via PGA TOUR University Accelerated (Gordon Sargent/October 2023)
- After earning his TOUR card, continued to play throughout the 2025 season where he earned three top-30 finishes (T15/Farmers Insurance Open; T18/Cognizant Classic; T29/Sanderson Farms Championship); he officially accepted TOUR membership in June 2025
Jake Knapp
- Marks third consecutive appearance at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches (T4/2024; T6/2025)
- At the 2025 edition, became the 14th different player (15th time) to shoot a sub-60 round on the PGA TOUR (Jim Furyk has a 58 and 59); his first-round 59 became the low 18-hole score in Cognizant Classic history (previous best 61: Brian Harman/R2/2012; Matt Jones/R1/2021)
- Finished No. 47 in the 2025 FedExCup standings after collecting four top-10 finishes during the 2025 season (T6/Cognizant Classic; 3rd/Zurich Classic of New Orleans with playing partner Frankie Capan III; T4/Rocket Classic; T3/3M Open)
- Captured his first career TOUR victory during his first season on TOUR at the 2024 VidantaWorld Mexico Open
- Currently sits at No. 14 in the FedExCup standings after opening the season at the Sony Open in Hawaii (T11) and Farmers Insurance Open (T5)
Joe Highsmith
- Earned his first career TOUR victory at the 2025 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches in his second start at the event (MC/2024)
- En route to his 2025 victory:
- Became the first player on TOUR to win after making the cut on the number (5-under) since Brandt Snedeker (2016 Farmers Insurance Open) and sixth player to accomplish this since 2003
- Carded the low 72-hole score (265) since the Cognizant Classic moved to PGA National (Champion Course) in 2007
- Became 17th player to earn his first TOUR win at the Cognizant Classic; fifth in the last seven years
- Earned a spot in the five remaining Signature Events of 2025, the 2025 Masters Tournament, 2025 PGA Championship
- Following his win:
- Earned three more top-25 finishes (T20/THE PLAYERS Championship; T22/Valspar Championship; T8/PGA Championship)
- Made his FedExCup Playoffs debut (67/FedEx St. Jude Championship)
- Finished No. 54 in the 2025 FedExCup standings
- After three previous starts this season, currently sits at No. 126 in the FedExCup
Keith Mitchell
- 2019 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches champion will make his eighth start, where he holds three top-10 finishes (Won/2019; T9/2022; T9/2024)
- Earned his maiden TOUR victory in 2019 after draining a 15-foot birdie putt on the final hole at PGA National’s Champion Course to defeat Brooks Koepka and Rickie Fowler
- Finished No. 75 in the 2025 FedExCup standings after earning three top-10 finishes during the 2025 season (T2/Corales Puntacana Championship; T7/Truist Championship; T10/Baycurrent Classic)
- In three previous starts this season, has one top-25 finish and currently sits at No. 35 in the FedExCup standings (best tournament finish in 2026: T11/Farmers Insurance Open)
Will Zalatoris
- Set to make Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches tournament debut
- Claimed first career TOUR victory at the 2022 FedEx St. Jude Championship where he defeated 2022 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches winner Sepp Straka in a playoff at TPC Southwind
- Finished the 2025 season at No. 137 in the FedExCup standings after earning three top-25 finishes (T12/The American Express; T24/The Genesis Invitational; T22/Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by Mastercard)
- After two previous starts this season, has one top-25 finish and currently sits at No. 57 in the FedExCup standings (best tournament finish in 2026: T18/Farmers Insurance Open)
