at PGA National Resort & Spa

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – Tournament officials announced today the field for the 2026 Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches when it returns to The Champion Course at PGA National Resort & Spa from Wednesday, February 25 through Sunday, March 1.

The field boasts 56 PGA TOUR winners combining for 141 TOUR titles. Among the stars set to tee it up next week are World No. 11 Ben Griffin, World No. 25 Ryan Gerard, World No. 29 Shane Lowry, nine-time TOUR winner Brooks Koepka, six-time TOUR winner Max Homa, 14-time TOUR winner Adam Scott and 2014 FedExCup Champion Billy Horschel.

As part of his return to the PGA TOUR via the Returning Member Program, Koepka was added to the field (121) so not to take a spot from a current TOUR member. To round out threesomes, the field will be officially expanded to 123 as of Monday at noon ET, with the first two alternates at that time being added to the field.

2025 champion Joe Highsmith returns to the course where he earned his first career TOUR title after defeating Jacob Bridgeman and J.J. Spaun by two strokes. The Washington native became the 17th player to earn his first TOUR victory at the Cognizant Classic and the fifth in the last seven years. In addition to Highsmith, the event will feature six other past champions including Austin Eckroat (2024), Chris Kirk (2023), Keith Mitchell (2019), Adam Scott (2016), Camilo Villegas (2010) and Matt Kuchar (2002).

Other notable players set to compete are South Florida residents Luke Clanton, Eric Cole, Nick Dunlap, Taylor Pendrith, Neal Shipley and Gary Woodland alongside 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Player of the Year Johnny Keefer and fan favorites Tom Kim and Will Zalatoris.

Two players accepted sponsor exemptions into the Cognizant Classic including Blades Brown and five-time TOUR winner Villegas, who claimed the 2010 Cognizant Classic. The final two sponsor exemptions will be determined by Monday, February 23.
